Project Education has launched a cycle of philanthropic conferences.
Every month, an influential guest stemming from the worlds of academia, economics, politics, art or literature is invited to share their knowledge and trade viewpoints on society with participants.
The objective of these conferences is to enable anyone to strengthen their general culture and better comprehend today’s and tomorrow’s vital issues whilst doing a good deed.
Indeed, these events are organized to aid the association Parrains d’Avenir, which aim is thus to fight education-based inequalities.
Participating in these conferences is free. Voluntary donations are transferred to Parrains d’Avenir (http://www.parrainsdavenir.com).

On July 7 2010, in partnership with Project Education, the first Philanthropic Conferences cycle meeting benefiting Parrains d’Avenir - the theme of which was "Sports and Geopolitics" - was held.
The event allowed Yves Mossé - former Ecole Nationale d’Administration student and formerly in charge of local government as a senior civil servant -, who led the debate, to define sports as:
- a political topic owing to its vast presence on an international and universal scale (its present in every media, everywhere in the world)
- an economic issue in particular because of the investments it involves (the costs related to building sport infrastructures)
- a cause of international mutations because it is tied with politics and is the mirror of historical debates (e.g. racial segregation during the Saint Louis Olympic Games)
This conference was the first of a cycle which promises to be rich in terms of topics and is destined to be an effective way of sharing knowledge.
